Like many second career photographers, I picked up my camera and seriously looked at it when my first child was born. I think I even started reading the manual wondering how to get those great shots. I had a strong motivation as I wanted badly to preserve his absolute sweetness and beauty…after all, he was the most gorgeous baby in the world! The pure honesty, spontaneity, and whimsy he possessed without even knowing was a complete wonder to me and it soon became an obsession of mine to capture it. Those who love photography know what I mean…
Since then, years have gone by and through study and practice, my passion for capturing the tender or spirited interactions between children and their families has grown. I find through use an artistic eye and natural lighting, the most beautiful moments between people can be frozen forever through priceless images. This gift of a lasting memory is a joy for me to give.
Before my eyes, Carrie Anciaux Photography, LLC has grown into a full-time photography business providing custom, quality portraiture for those in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin and the surrounding Madison areas. Maternity and baby photography, children photography and family photography as well as senior portraiture and most recently wedding photography have become not only my job but the fulfillment of a dream, a passion.
